To run MicroTec Stand alone version simply connect LPT or USB port key and run MicroTec from Start/Programs. 2.2 Server version Additional configuration settings are required to complete installation of the server version for both server and client configuration files Mt422/srv/Nnksrv32.ini and Mt422/Gnclient.ini respectively. We recommend to use TCP IP protocol only. Default settings for the Nnksrv32.ini and Gnclient.ini files are typically optimal and the only mandatory required change is the MicroTec License server IP address/name that should be specified in the proper line of the Gnclient.ini file Please make sure that all users have read/write permissions to files in the MicroTec directory except for *.exe files. If you have a few MicroTec License servers in your network, modify your client Gnclient.ini files appropriately to evenly spread the load on the servers. The License server can be monitored from any computer in the network using Web browser via port 3185 e.g. http://:3185/ where is the name or IP of the server. By default TCP IP port for client/server communication is 3182 and can be changed in both server and client configuration files Nnksrv32.ini and Gnclient.ini simultaneously. 3.
